Amber Hotel-Cebu

The hotel was very basic but clean. It did have plenty of water in the water coolers on each floor. Not a great area of Cebu and didn’t feel safe walking around. The worst thing was the continual traffic noise which kept me awake all night. Booked for two nights but could only stay for one as I could not suffer another night of traffic noise. I also did not wish to go out in the evening in that area.

This hotel is new and its absolutely affordable! The staff are very nice and helpful, the breakfast is at the G/F its a very nice and cozy, at night its a steakhouse. This hotel is located at the centre of cebu , which most of the places are just nearby. Will definitely come back to this hotel !

Found one of good accommodation central of Cebu city. I like it. I wasn’t expecting that they provided me free breakfast Philippines style. That’s proper. All of facilities was new smells is nice as well I’d come back next time

5/5 Stars! We recently had the pleasure of staying at Amber Hotel Cebu, and we must say, it exceeded my expectations! The hotel's location is one of its strongest selling points - it's situated in a very accessible area, just a stone's throw away from a major shopping mall. This made it easy for me to explore the city and get to wherever I needed to go. The hotel itself is immaculately clean and well-maintained. The staff are warm, friendly, and always willing to lend a helping hand. They truly made us feel welcome and at home. The breakfast spread was delicious. We also appreciated the convenient drinking water facility available throughout the hotel. One thing to note is that the hotel requires a deposit of PHP 1,000 upon check-in, but this is fully refundable upon check-out. Overall, we highly recommend Amber Hotel Cebu to anyone looking for a comfortable, convenient, and enjoyable stay in the city. we would definitely stay here again!

The area is not that much things to do or see but after all you have what you need to eat or drink coffees ( macdo - kfc …Starbucks just across the street ) . Easy to get taxi and staff very helpful , 30-45 min ride to the airport depends on traffic .

CHECK IN - the welcome was warm. Greeted by the security at the lobby and instructed to go to 3rd floor (main lobby) for checkin. Approached the front desk and the woman I spoke with (she was the manager I guess) told me to wait because rooms are still not ready since they were fully booked from yesterday's event. A few minutes later they approched and.proceeded with checkin. They gave us a room, away from the main elevator (which I requested), but gave us the the accessible room just beside the service elevator. I guess they have overbooked because I heard someone said, "to release the buffer rooms." The front desk lady who assisted me was nice and courteous. The only thing that was off from that experience was the tone of voice of the lady manager. I guess the regional accent was a factor, but I can sense she was judging me for my looks because I was only wearing slippers that time, and she can't find my booking at first, because it was a last minute booking. Not really creating an issue out of that, but just saying, don't judge, and please, the tone of voice. THE ROOM - everything was great, just a basic room. PROS: A bed, the lights, there's a smart TV, water heater and 2 mugs, a pitcher and 2 water glasses, towels, toothbrush, a hairdryer, 2 rolls of tissue paper, body wash and shampoo refills, airconditioning, and a water refill station near the elevator, hot and cold water in the bathroom. CONS: they could have added slippers (even the reusable ones) because the floor is very cold. The room that was given to us had its bathroom tiles not set properly or balanced, so the water is everywhere in the bathroom instead of going to the drain. RESTAURANT - there's free breakfast at the resto called Seaedr Prime. There's not much from the breakfast menu, and the bangus was not available. It includes the main dish plus fried rice, coffee, and fruit. They had watermelons served during our 2 night stay. SERVICE - it was great. The housekeeper cleaned the room while we're away. OVERALL - I would definitely book this hotel again for a very good deal. Location is nice and I would even compare it to a Holiday Inn.
